I can't believe I've posted so much about DC in such a short amount of time... but don't say I didn't warn you way back when with this post. And because I know you're begging for more, here's a bit more from my trip!
I highly encourage anyone and everyone to visit this amazing city. Not only are there so many different monuments, museums, and pieces of history... the district is filled with delicious food, fun little shops, and incredible people from all walks of life. Since telling people about my upcoming move, I've heard a lot of talk regarding the dangers of DC. To those of you who have never been there, don't listen, just be smart. It's a big city, therefore not immune to dangers. Plus, it's gotten a lot better over the years! Of course there are less than safe neighborhoods and robberies are not a new thing, but I have yet to fear for my safety there. Again, be smart, aware, and alert. And visit! I'm hoping you guys all come visit this summer once Dave, Anz, and I are settled in our new place.
My goals for my next visit are to try some jumbo pizza and go to the Library of Congress. Happy Friday!
