After meeting in the UC Davis dining commons (he was best friends with one of her high school friends), we became best friends, marching bandmates, housemates, and fell in love. We graduated from college and began the next chapter of our lives. That's where this blog started. He went to Panama to serve 27 months in the Peace Corps. She completed prerequisite courses and then began nursing school. He blogged over on
¡bichos! about his experiences of literally living in the jungle. She blogged here about friends, family, and trips to Panama.
He has since returned to the states – moving to DC and over to this blog and started working for the government. She finished grad school, made the big move cross country to join him, and started working as a Registered Nurse. We are so excited for this next chapter in our lives... exploring a new city, new restaurants, and being able to drive for twenty minutes and be in a new state. The dog (yes, there's a dog) is enjoying being a part of the ride... Panama to California to DC.
