sunshine.

It's here! It's here! April is finally here!

April is by far my favorite month. It's the month of sunny days, dress wearing, my birthday, Picnic Day, sunny days, shorts, and did I mention... sunny days?! Sure, March has it's share of sunny days and is technically when Spring begins, but it just doesn't hold a candle to the sunshine of April. I'm so excited!

Someone else who is excited... Anz! He was so excited to go on our walk today and spend some time in the warm sunshine. He has spent the whole winter refusing to go outside unless absolutely necessary (though I must admit it wasn't as cold or wet as it could/should have been). This has been the coldest weather the poor pup has ever experienced. I'm pretty sure he never experienced anything below 70 and humid in Panamá. Unfortunately for him... he has no clue how much colder it's going to be in DC next winter!

P.S. Just in case you're wondering... I'm still in the running to win some money in the pool! Sadly, I've been kicked out of first. If Kentucky wins, I'm in 2nd. If Kansas wins, Steve is in 1st. Makes me happy either way!
